DWI/DUI Possible Outcomes

Typically, DWIs resolve with a plea agreement. However, in some cases the evidence in the complaint is weak. Which means that defense lawyers will sometimes argue to dismiss based on probable cause grounds. This is how most DWIs are successfully litigated by defendants. In rare cases you will need to go to trial. But DWI trials are challenging for the defense because the evidence can be substantial and most prosecutors are seasoned professionals. Which means you need a seasoned trial lawyer. Even then, there's no gaurantee you'll be successful.
